About Us

about-us-chatting-woodburn-umcThe United Methodist Church is based on the teachings of John Wesley, a spellbinding minister who preached in 18th century in England and America. At Woodburn United Methodist Church we’ve taken his instructions to heart.

From hosting the HMU Baptist church every Sunday in our Fellowship Hall, being the location for the new Woodburn Senior Center on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays, supporting the Woodburn Relay for Life, local Habitat for Humanity, the AWARE food bank, Love INC, the Red Cross Blood Drive, readers for the S.M.A.R.T reading program (Start Making a Reader Today) at Nellie Muir Elementary School, a place for the mobile Dental Van, and our missionary in Africa, we offer you many opportunities to live your faith outside our church walls.

Who’s On Third? – Dr. Jeannine & David Jordan

Thanks to our corporate sponsors Carol Bolton, Ind. Ins. Agent; Hubbard Chevrolet; WAASP (Woodburn Area Assoc. for Senior Programs), Woodburn United Methodist Church and others, our February “Who’s on Third?” Community Concert will feature an extra special performance.

Our performers, Dr. Jeannine & David Jordan, will take us “Around the World in 80 Minutes” (in sights & sound).   We will pack your “virtual suitcases & passports” and travel through 17 different countries in this spectacular multi-media/live organ concert performance.  There will also be live video feeds of Jeannine’s spectacular organ technique and audience reactions added to the video images on the screen.  This concert opportunity is not to be missed.

We will once again have fresh cookies provided by Country Meadows.  The refreshments (cookies and beverages) for this concert will be served starting at 2:15 PM (before the performance) so our “trip” is not interrupted.

All “Who’s on Third?” community concerts are open to the public to be enjoyed by the whole community and everyone is welcome.   These concerts are held at Woodburn United Methodist Church (located at 700 N. Cascade Dr. just south of the Cascade Park Retirement complex) in Woodburn.  A free-will offering will be taken to cover the remainder of this concert’s cost & allow us to continue the financial support of this community concert series.
