About

Woodburn United Methodist Church

The United Methodist Church is based on the teachings of John Wesley, a spellbinding minister who preached in 18th century in England and America. At Woodburn United Methodist Church we’ve taken his instructions to heart. The United Methodist Church shares a great deal with other denominations. Explore what we believe about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, and more. We also have a unique heritage and areas of emphasis. Learn what we mean when we talk about grace, how we serve people around the world, and ways we grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

From hosting the HMU Baptist church every Sunday in our Fellowship Hall, being the location for the new Woodburn Senior Center on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays, supporting the Woodburn Relay for Life, local Habitat for Humanity, the AWARE food bank, Love INC, the Red Cross Blood Drive, readers for the S.M.A.R.T reading program (Start Making a Reader Today) at Nellie Muir Elementary School, a place for the mobile Dental Van, and our missionary in Africa, we offer you many opportunities to live your faith outside our church walls.
